Nana Lono started while we were building a TIKI menu for one of our TIKI & Love events, inspired by a banana-and-date smoothie Nate B used to make in the mornings. We turned that nostalgic idea into a banana-date Old Fashioned riff that was so good it stayed on the menu ever since.
Ingredients:
Banana-infused Mt. Gay Rum, Averna Amaro, house-made buttered oat bitters, dates, mace, coconut foam
